My recent stay at Mar Hall was a delightful experience, steeped in the grandeur of its stunning architecture and beautiful gardens. Although the spa facilities could use a touch-up, the attentive staff and exquisite dining more than compensated for minor foibles, making it memorable.

The room was spacious with a beautiful view of the garden. It felt cozy overall, but the wallpaper was peeling off in the bathroom, which was a downside. The bed was comfy, and the large bath was a nice touch. it did get pretty hot at night, and the heating controls didn’t help too much. Staff were attentive and helped with our requests, which made it better.

the room was super comfy with a nice view and all the facilities were good. staff like arlene made check-in feel personal n special. loved the bar/lounge vibes, relaxed atmosphere and cool waiters. leisure facilities were on point, especially the steam room n sauna, totally enjoyed those. breakfast was tasty and dinner was good value too, really felt like we got our money's worth.
but the outdoor jacuzzi got cold too quick and the heating in the room was too much. also, the coffee supply in the room was kinda lame, just instant coffee and cheap water bottles.

A Serene Retreat with Room for Improvement
I enjoyed a quiet night in a Classic Twin Room. The views were stunning, yet I faced challenges with room service information. Dining on-site delivered flavorful meals, but having a clear menu would enhance the solo traveler experience. Consider asking about menus upon arrival.

I enjoyed my stay at Mar Hall. The stunning architecture and beautifully manicured grounds provided a tranquil setting for my business trip. The spacious deluxe room offered excellent views, and the staff demonstrated a high level of professionalism. The dining experience was exceptional, featuring a diverse menu with locally sourced ingredients, and the breakfast was particularly impressive with a full Scottish breakfast selection.
Some common areas were in need of refurbishment, and the Wi-Fi could have been more reliable.

The room exceeded my expectations! It felt really spacious with beautiful views overlooking the Clyde. The hot stone massage in the spa was delightful. Staff assistance was impressive throughout my stay. They were attentive and professional, which always made me feel welcomed. the common areas definitely need some refurbishment. The Wi-Fi was also hit or miss at times, which was frustrating. I really enjoyed the food, especially the breakfast with a full Scottish breakfast selection and locally sourced ingredients. The architecture of the hotel added a nice touch to my overall experience, but those maintenance issues need attention to match the luxury feel the hotel aims for.
